4D HealthScience aims to revolutionize the patient engagement process using a HIPAA compliant, virtual rehabilitation solution called GoPhysio. The device digitalizes and delivers Avatar guided physiotherapy instructions to the patients’ homes—assisting clinicians in providing the beneficial effects of treatment and motivation for adherence. GoPhysio is an AI-powered system built with 4D HealthScience’s patented algorithms that work with patients through exercises using a 3D body motion-sensing camera that captures body movements in any lighting conditions. The device creates an avatar that will guide, score, and give real-time corrective feedback throughout the rehabilitation process as prescribed by the clinicians. The data, which consists of patient compliance with prescribed exercises as well as pre and post pain levels and location is acquired by the device and uploaded in real time on the prescribing practitioner’s dashboard and records the history of every therapy session. Modifications and updates to the program can be made accordingly via the web. Remote patient monitoring with interactive virtual physical therapy can increase patient engagement and cut costs for everyone involved.
