Catering to Aesthetic Needs with Made-to-Measure Implants

The Korean plastic surgery market currently accounts for $5 trillion, around a quarter of the total market. In the current FITme process, the surgeon brings their patient’s CT scan to FITme for an implant design consultation. The company creates a custom implant design according to the surgeon’s request and confirms it with the surgeon. It then manufactures the implant through 3D printing.

In the near future with The FACE On (FITme accessible communication Engine) platform, surgeons automatically and quickly establish a surgical process through planning and patient consultation, utilizing AI-based medical image analysis software. Before this procedure, during the design phase, surgeons check 3D model images of the clients’ implants and use the organization’s implant library to make any changes, or they can design custom implants themselves. Clients can use FITme’s cloud base, where patients and surgeons can visualize and check data directly through the analysis software. In addition, simulations which enable the comparison between preoperational status and post operational result can be done on the cloud base. FITme plans to release this innovative solution, The FACE ON platform in the market as soon as acquiring KFDA/FDA approval.

Beyond implants for aesthetic purposes, FITme supplies them for reconstruction surgery. It prepares models and implants, focusing on asymmetric issues from congenital deformity or traumatic deformity, and works with patients with Down syndrome, who have a gap in the temporal area. It’s a much better option than ready-made fillers or fat injections, as they absorb fast, and there is not enough time to peak the injected area.
