Another key innovation is a synthetic bone graft substitute composed of non-toxic, medical-grade calcium sulfate, which acts as a controlled-release agent to prevent infection. GMReis has also developed a specialized bone cement to treat osteoporosis and a thoracic rib fixation system to stabilize and repair rib fractures.

The company is now finalizing the development of a single-use 1.8mm arthroscope. This will enhance the accuracy of sports injury diagnosis and fracture inspection during open reduction and internal fixation (ORIF).
