nabios was established in 1998 and has built a great experience in cardiac safety assessments in human health clinical studies. It primarily assists pharmaceutical corporations, contract research organizations (CROs), and clinical pharmacology units (CPUs) with Phase 1 clinical trials. Two of the top 20 global pharma companies and many Phase 1 units are among nabios' preferred provider agreements, which are mostly based in Germany.
While joining the Banook Group, nabios will keep its current name, which has earned it a great reputation. To boost its footprint in Central and Eastern Europe, the Banook Group will strengthen its staff in Munich.
“We are excited to welcome nabios as part of the Banook Group. With this acquisition, our customers will have access to new and more competitive services,” said Pascal Voiriot, president, and Alexandre Durand-Salmon, CEO, of the Banook Group. “This acquisition will help us become the leader in the cardiac safety market in Europe, by offering a strong European alternative to those companies operating from North America or India.”
“Joining the Banook Group is a great opportunity for growth for us. We both share a common history and uphold the same vision for the healthcare of tomorrow,” said Gerda and Valentin Demmel, founders of nabios. “Like us, the Banook Group started out as a small family business and has successfully maintained its DNA and legacy over the years. By sharing these values, we saw a good opportunity to engage on a deeper level and create a stronger company.”
The Banook Group will be able to increase its competitiveness as a result of this acquisition, as well as boost its ability to respond to larger requests for proposals in the European and global markets. The goal of the cooperation is to build a strong cluster in Europe while retaining flexibility, efficiency, and high-quality standards for enterprises all around the world. To promote innovative endpoint solutions - within a dynamic market - Banook will expedite operational scale-up and research investments.
