Laserage, a brand of AMETEK Engineered Medical Components (EMC), is developing a brand-new laser cutting and CNC machining solution for the medical device market. The fully integrated laser cutting system offers compressive Swiss machining capabilities through part cooling and automatic part handling options. This machine is known worldwide for its high-quality production capabilities and is manufactured by one of the leading manufacturers of CNC equipment.
The laser Swiss cutting system provides precision metal tubes and rods ranging in diameter from 1 mm to 20 mm, laser cut or CNC machined. The company offers ID expansion and increase, laser cut patterns, OD reduction, and CNC drilling services. Combining all these features will make it possible to create highly accurate medical tube and rod applications, among others, in a timely, accurate, and comprehensive manner.
Laser Swiss can produce a variety of surgical and medical instruments, including robotic surgical instruments and structural heart applications like heart valve delivery systems.
