As a small firm, working with an established distribution network offers global market reach while managing the level of quality in marketing, sales, technical service, and most essentially, patient care that the company has established in the US. Freedom Ventures has the experience to be that partner in this region.
Freedom Ventures will also help QT Imaging secure a CE Mark and manage the registration process in its markets. The European medical imaging market, presently valued at $38 Billion, is expected to grow almost 10 percent annually over the next decade, with advancements in medical imaging technology driving that increased demand. QT's medical imaging technology creates 3D images with remarkable accuracy and precision, and the volumetric images are generated without the requirements of contrast injections or radiation. The QTscan is an FDA-cleared breast imaging tool. The firm will seek CE marking to offer confidence to the healthcare community that it meets EU safety, health, and environmental protection needs before market launch.
The firm is excited about the opportunity the radiation-free QTscan has to fill a unique requirement in the European breast imaging market where women are being screened later and less frequently due to radiation concerns. With QTscan, the company will have an opportunity to screen women who now have to travel far to hospitals where radiology equipment is available, whereas technologies can be employed virtually anywhere. The company will focus on producing regional QTscan centers to bring this unique technology to the masses.
The QT Imaging Breast Scanner is indicated for leverage as an ultrasonic imaging system to offer reflection-mode and transmission-mode images of a patient's breast. The device is not intended to be utilized as a replacement for screening mammography.
