Soovu uses thermal technology, digital coaching, and behavioral support to mitigate pain.
FREMONT, CA: "Our mission at Soovu Labs is addressing a world in pain with safe, effective, minimally invasive, and drug-free solutions," says Allan Stephan, Soovu Labs CEO and co-founder. Soovu Labs has released its thermal neuromodulation wearable device, SoovuTM, to treat moderate to severe chronic, musculoskeletal, and menstrual pain. The system is currently accessible through the company's employer program. It utilizes proprietary HeatWaveTM technology to deliver pulsed heat at high temperatures to the skin safely and comfortably for effective, targeted pain treatment.

“Chronic pain accounts for billions in lost productivity for employers every year, and it also prevents employees from enjoying their lives. Our science-based solution is transforming the face of pain treatment to help employers enhance their employees’ health and wellbeing while boosting overall business productivity,” adds Stephan.
Chronic pain significantly reduces job productivity and causes excessive medical costs for employers and employees. On any given day, about 40 percent of workers experience discomfort, which can devastate their physical and emotional health, negatively affecting an employer's bottom line. Soovu aims to bridge the gap between pain and recovery, allowing employees to enjoy enhanced work, play, and rest.
The Soovu Pain Comfort System consists of two wearable, discrete, and rechargeable heat pods that provide soothing relief within five minutes of use and reduce pain for hours. The user applies an adhesive ring to the sore location and then attaches the Soovu heat pod to the adhesive ring. Using Soovu's mobile app, the wearer can choose between three pain relief programs and customize the temperature and treatment time. Throughout the program, Soovu coaches assist users in customizing Soovu therapy to their needs and adopting cognitive behavior-based pain management practices.
Participants in clinical trials experienced immediate (within 5 minutes) and long-lasting (3.5-5.5 hours) pain alleviation, a 60 percent reduction in pain after eight weeks of treatment, and significant improvements in mobility, sleep, and happiness. Soovu is FDA-approved, registered, and accessible over the counter.
Businesses interested in collaborating with Soovu Labs to provide their staff with cutting-edge tools to improve their health and productivity can do so through the company's Discovery Program. Musculoskeletal diseases and pain treatment comprise a significant component of healthcare claims for firms with 1,000 or more qualified employees. Organizations can give Soovu to their staff at a steep discount by enrolling in the Discovery Program. They will also receive continuous assistance and access to reporting to gauge Soovu's efficacy.
