They rely on mechanical atrial contractions to deliver right ventricular pacing. ICMs are inserted under the skin to detect arrhythmias and are now equipped with AI to detect AFib and pause occurrences with high accuracy. AI is changing heart failure patients' lives by monitoring fluid levels and activity to decrease exacerbation frequency.
