Innovations in medical technology create a world where robots may play a significant role in healing the patients than doctors.
FREMONT, CA: Robots are everywhere, from science fiction to the local healthcare facility, where they change medical care. Robots in medicine help relieve medical personnel from repetitive tasks that take their time away from other pressing responsibilities and make medical procedures protected and less costly for patients. They can also perform accurate surgery in tiny places and transport harmful substances. So without much ado, here are the top advancements in medical robotics that will change the medical industry.

Actuated and Sensory Prostheses
The field of prosthetics has innovated so much in the last few years that the question is no longer, can the world make a suitable replacement for a limb, but rather, can the world make something even better than nature. Researchers have developed gyroscopically actuated robotic limbs that are potent for tracking their position in three-dimensional space and adjusting joints upwards of 750 times per second.
Endoscopy-Bot
An endoscopy is a process where a camera on a long wire is inserted into the body through a natural opening to look for damage, foreign objects, or traces of a disease. It's an uncomfortable and delicate operation that might also be a thing of the past. New enhancements to the procedure make use of slender robots directed like an RC car to the exact spot the doctor requires. They can hold there without human hands' tremor and implement extensive tools for anything from a biopsy to cauterizing a wound.
Targeted Therapy Micro-Robot
Although relatively new, this is a promising type of medical robot. It uses near-microscopic mechanical particles to deliver a drug or other therapy to a specific target site within the body. This could be leveraged to offer radiation directly to a tumor or to mitigate the side effects of the medication by limiting it to the part where it is required. What is interesting here, though, is how the particles get to the target. There are several possible means, but new research has included micro-bots with tiny, helical tails driven by magnetic fields to spin forward through blood vessels to a spot in the body.
