As a forerunner to the hands-on certification training events, a new clinic can complete each module of the certification at their leisure.
FREMONT, CA: The importance of certifications and trainings have grown rapidly for the regional clinics. This not only helps them stay updated with the latest technology and treatments, it also helps them keep ahead of the competition. Vivos, a pharmaceutical firm working to develop minimally invasive cancer treatments, has completed nine certification training modules in collaboration with FX Masse as part of the certification training for new regional clinics. "We were fortunate to team with this contractor to capitalize on their experience on producing these modules. They will also assist with the licensing. We needed to create an efficient and consistent process to initiate the establishment of regional clinics for IsoPet therapy," said Dr. Mike Korenko.

The components are now available on the FX Masse website, along with a separate UR web browser for Vivos. This requires a necessary amount of effort, but the strategy will be highly cost-effective. As a forerunner to the hands-on certification training events, a new clinic can complete each module at their leisure. Their radioactive material handling licenses will be linked to this qualification.
Vivos has developed a Yttrium-90 based brachytherapy injectable device for the treatment of malignant tumors in people (RadioGel) and animals (IsoPet). Brachytherapy uses a special hydrogel formulation to place a radioactive isotope precisely inside the treatment area, allowing highly localized radiation to eliminate malignant tumors.
