Next in line is Nova Biomedical’s POCT StatStrip^® Glucose meter. It is the only glucose meter cleared by the FDA for use in all patient populations, including neonates and critically ill patients. The solution measures and corrects for variations in haematocrit and has no known interferences from substances that can typically cause other meters to produce inaccurate results, such as different sugars (maltose, dextrose or maltodextrin) and various drugs and redox agents.
