Research and Innovation for Novel Therapeutic Gestures

Across the globe, innovation is at the forefront among pharmaceutical organizations that wish to address the unmet demands at the point of care. The journey of NTC Pharma started in 2016, and after a reduction of the Covid-19 limitations, NTC is entering into an acceleration phase unleashing the potential of its newly developed novel drugs and leveraging state-of-the-art technologies designed to best fulfill patient care, and is supported by evidence based medicine and data.

In particular, some of the NTC products are specifically designed to provide innovative, effective and safe therapeutic solutions to simplify the quality of life of patients. In addition, at NTC, the team believes that products that embed an improvement in the therapeutic gestures of patients make therapies simpler and more intuitive, sustainable, healthier and technically adequate, are long term winners for NTC and its partners.



To give an example, with the aim of rationalizing the use of antibiotics and fighting antimicrobial resistance, the company developed four different products for wound healing. All these solutions are based on the TiAb complex: the silver is stabilized in a monovalent form (Ag+); it is more effective than colloidal silver and is also safer because it works properly with a reduced quantity of the silver-complex. NTC is using this technology in different medical devices. In dermatology, NTC TiAb platform consists of a complete range of products for wound management: a powder, a powder spray, a cream gel and TiAb patch spray. These products are fairly new and NTC is in the process to partner them across the globe. “The organization sources the latest technologies and solutions from a wide range of CMOs and CDMOs, mainly in the EU,” says Catapano, that the NTC offerings has as primary goal in wound healing to provide the optimal conditions for the natural reparative processes and the primary action of these formulations is to create a barrier on the skin lesions and to isolate the damaged area from external microbial aggressions in order to provide a reparative activity.
