Today, Petros’ wholly-owned unit, Timm Medical, is dedicated to consistently combining quality products with the best-in-industry service levels to exceed its customers’ expectations. The firm is looking at new ways to bring men’s health solutions to all the stakeholders involved to drive value and reimagine how care is delivered for men’s health problems in the future.



Timm Medical is positioned as a leader in at-home vacuum erection devices (VEDs) to brands Osbon Erecaid and Pos-T-Vac Medical. These external medical devices use negative vacuum pressure to descend the penile tissue and increase blood flow to the penis.

They are recommended for organic erectile dysfunction and post-radical prostatectomy therapies for men with underlying health conditions. The devices are recognized as among the most effective vacuum erection devices in the marketplace and are designed to produce clinically significant results. Both these brands are available over-the-counter and with prescription. Combining Pos-T-Vac with Timm Medical’s Osbon Erecaid product lines enables Timm Medical to offer competent products, the broadest support team in the industry, and the only VEDs manufactured in the United States.

A part of Timm Medical’s product offering is Petros’ patent-protected oral phosphodiesterase 5 (PDE5) inhibitor for the treatment of ED. Via these innovative products, Timm Medical has helped thousands of men with erectile dysfunction, prostate cancer, and penile rehabilitation address their erectile health with an at-home therapeutic regimen and under the guidance of their practitioner.

Timm Medical’s Way up the Ladder

Initially founded in 1982, Timm Medical has been through several iterations. After a corporate buyout in 2015, Timm Medical refocused its strategy on relationships with customers (patients, physicians, distributors, and corporate partners). “When it comes to distributors, who are a key part of getting the product out to the patient, we are looking at new and innovative ways to support market awareness and drive value to both partners and their consumers. “This includes investing in their marketing campaigns, co-branding, and working in concert with our distributors overall,” informs Gesek.

As for physicians, Timm Medical aims to get closer to them in terms of understanding their expertise, bringing thought leaders in-house, and making them a part of developing the next generation of products and add-ons to meet the needs of patients in today’s new and emerging healthcare environment. Spotlighting Timm Medical’s go-to-market strategy, Gesek cites, “Currently, our business transacts with practitioner, distributor and directly to consumer. Our long-standing history and relationships among the practitioner community affords us close collaboration with our healthcare provider network. Accordingly, we offer practitioner and patient education programs to help drive greater patient adherence and ongoing healthcare provider to patient engagements. Christine Forte, Timm Medical’s director of customer experience, provides training programs to local patient educators and the physician staff, enabling, in many cases, same-day start to their device therapy. Additionally, we constantly seek new and innovative ways to help drive value and awareness in partnership with our highly valued distributor network. As for our direct to consumer channels, we seek to become a part of the many conversations occurring on social media around the topic of medical-grade therapeutics for sexual dysfunction and erectile health.”

Currently, Timm Medical has full domestic coverage in the U.S. and globally sells its products in Canada, the UK, France, Spain, Germany, Australia, the Nordic Region, China, Hong Kong, the UAE, and the Middle East. Upping the Game in Men’s Health Outcomes

As a part of its future projects, Timm Medical has several new devices in its product pipeline. ED is a highly underserved and unmet condition. Timm Medical’s upcoming products will focus on the measurement of key biometrics with real-time visibility to consumers and practitioners. This critical dynamic will enhance the patient’s inclusion in their therapy and provide common data points to be discussed with their practitioner, synchronizing the collaboration between patients and their healthcare providers. “We are looking to launch these products in the marketplace by late Q3 or early Q4 of 2022,” concludes Gesek.
