Ultra V has recently developed a medical-grade absorbable thread and next-generation biodegradable stimulator, ULTRACOL (PDO powder lifting), through its advanced technology.

ULTRACOL is the first microsphere-based bio stimulator and skin booster made from FDA-registered polydioxanone (PDO) ingredients. It stimulates the production of autologous collagen to help with the face’s volume, lifting, and elasticity and is used as a skin booster depending on the product type.

ULTRACOL’s safety feature makes it a unique product for customers. While existing fillers have irregular microparticle shapes or biosafety concerns, ULTRACOL contains no allergens or side effect, and uses bio-degradable ingredient that dissolve safely and naturally. In addition, it stimulates collagen production, which helps improve skin elasticity.

ULTRACOL comes in two variations, ULTRACOL 100 and ULTRACOL 200. ULTRACOL 100 is an intradermal injection used as a skin booster with great effects.

ULTRACOL 200, a collagen stimulator and volume enhancer, is also highly effective. This procedure can treat numerous difficult indications, including the glabella, dark circles, and wrinkles under the eyes. It is also the optimal solution for cheek and perioral area. Its particle size is larger than that of ULTRACOL 100.

The application methods for ULTRACOL 100 and ULTRACOL 200 are the same. The preparation involves mixing 3cc of sterile distilled water with 1cc of lidocaine/ epinephrine, and then treating the patient with the solution.

ULTRACOL’s clinical trial process was performed at Chung-Ang university hospital, Korea, for 48 weeks, involving 72 participants. A comparison was made between the HA filler and ULTRACOL on the wrinkle improvement effect and the safety of ULTRACOL on both nasolabial folds. Subjects and evaluators were blindfolded during the test. It was determined ULTRACOL improved the skin’s collagen stimulator and volume booster properties.
