The original prototype was tested at the University of New Hampshire and demonstrated 7 log reduction (99.99999 percent) of SARS-COVID-19 at normal breathing rates of 15L/min using MS2 bacteriophage surrogates. The battery-operated mask consists of a unique filter with an ultrasonic and UVC air reactor while accompanying many other technologies to obtain high-volume air sterility. Offering protection from viruses, microbes, particulate matter like dust, and toxic powders, it can be used by everyday civilians, first responders, hospitals, police, and the military.

ZianMed has collaborated with Jabil for the engineering and production of the product. The collaboration has provided extensive resources and an extremely capable team that works with the global picture in mind.
